What is MetaGlance
MetaGlance is a web service used to generate metadata for web pages, documents and text passages.
What can I do with MetaGlance?
Automatically add tags to web pages, quickly get the gist of what is in a document, add metadata to a search index, and more.
How do I use it?
To use MetaGlance you add code to your web site or application. Details and sample code are in the documentation. Your code calls the MetaGlance service with a URL or with some text. MetaGlance returns a JSON list with keywords, title and other properties. Simple!
You can see the MetaGlance service in action and the JSON that is returned by entering a URL in the "Try it Now" box on this page. The URL can point to a web page or a document.
What if I don't write my own applications?
We have free applications designed to make your life easier. They require a free account. New ones are being added all the time.
